So I guess this is really all about the laundering of your spare change for the implementation of a kick-ass THEATRE of SOCIAL CHANGE – economically subsidised (sudsidised) by some pretty damn fine soap…

COCONUT DURDEN –is an exquisite range of boutique quality, premium aromatherapy body products:- handmade coconut and olive oil gourmet aromatherapy soap, richly nourishing moisture cremes of pure beeswax, golden jojoba, organic cocoa butter and totally pure essential oils.

PLEASE NOTE  - The soaps, spray perfumes, incense and spritzers are all totally vegan. The moisture cremes, solid perfumes, lip balms and body lotions include organic beeswax.

We also make and stock all-natural aromatherapy body lotions, deliciously natural handmade aromatherapy perfumes, stimulating, refreshing and relaxing essential oil blends in rose hydrosol spritzers, pure and natural aromatherapy incense, soothing lip balm of beeswax, hemp oil and jojoba, skin-softening bath vinegars and delectable massage oils made with pure essential oils in a wholesome organic nut oil carrier (macadamia & sweet almond).

All of the products in the Coconut Durden range are moderately expensive…

Why?  Several reasons…

1.Supremely high quality pure ingredients. We use sustainable coconut oil and extra virgin olive oil (definitely no animal involvement whatsoever, no palm oil and no nasty rancid blended vegetable oils)

2. 10% of profits are donated to a range of organisations including Amnesty, Wilderness Society, WWF, & TEAR Australia.

3. Soap is not food. Contrary to all the sensibly-hatted hobby soapers you see beaming at the craft markets with their 99 flavours of frilly-sprinkled goatstuff and pudding flavoured cupcake soap for $3 a bar… we actually need to eat real food and pay rent. Our prices reflect true costs of producing authentic, high quality aromatherapy soap.

4. Theatre of Social Change is a hungry beast that requires funds to pay for costumes, coffee, lights, theatre space, rehearsal space, coffee, technical equipment and staff, audio recording, travel expenses, insurance, tapes, printing, disks, administrative bumf, coffee, promotions, advertising… the menu is endless but the banquet de rigueur…   

Coconut Durden products are uncompromisingly beautiful, hand made luxury items, each carefully crafted from the very best quality of natural ingredients.

Each product is carefully blended with love and dedication to ensure an experience of pure pleasure in treating yourself with absolute confidence that these goods are indeed ‘goods’; there are no synthetic fragrances, no mass-produced, petrol-based components. Soap colours are achieved with clays, spices, pulverised herbs, flowers and spirulina, as well as a non-toxic, edible blue food colour.

Each delectable face and body creme utilises the pure and natural preservative quality of honey which is found in our gorgeous stock of organic beeswax sourced from the D’Aguilar national forest.

SOAP DU JOUR…

All soaps are large, hand-cut and weigh 100gms (most cakes weigh more). Gift combinations are beautifully wrapped in sustainable recycled papers and handmade cloth bags packed with dried flowers and herbs. We sporadically offer complementary tisanes and therapeutic herb blends in our gift pack range.

These soaps will last even longer if refrigerated in a sealed container between uses. As they are so delicious to use, they are worth treating well for longevity and economy.
